Instructions:
Papers must report original work carried out by the authors. The work can include development of new solutions, enhancing existing Open Source applications for specific requirements and comparative analysis of competing solutions. Direct survey or overview papers are not acceptable. Papers should be in English.
The length of the papers should not exceed 10 pages of A4 size (approx. 5000 words) including figures, etc. Papers exceeding the specified length are subject to rejection without review.
Size of a file to be uploaded must not exceed 5 MB. A paper can have one main file and one or more supplementary files if necessary.
An abstract of about 100-200 words and the area(s) under which the paper can be categorized, must be included with the paper.
The author's name and affiliations should be removed from the paper before submitting it for review, because reviewing will be "blind". The author's name and affiliations should added to the paper before submitting the camera ready version after review.
Papers should be in one of the following formats: PDF, RTF or ODT formats.
Papers must conform to formatting guidelines specified in the Paper Template.
Papers may be submitted via the web at the URL http://ncoss.cdacmumbai.in . Those who are unable to make electronic submissions may send four copies of the paper to the address listed below.
Special Instructions for Camera Ready Version:
The Track Director communicates to the Author the acceptance of a paper, and the changes to be incorporated in the camera ready version.
The camera ready version must incorporate all revisions suggested by the Track Director/ Reviewers.
All formatting instructions e.g. margin, font (type, size) etc listed in the paper template must be strictly followed.
Please ensure that the camera ready version is proof read by one or two people for spelling/grammar errors, coherence problems, etc.
The camera ready version must be submitted in the source (doc or odt or rtf) as well as in pdf format.
The camera ready version files need to be sent by email to the respective Track Director. Additionally, a hard copy should be sent by speed post/courier, to the address below, to protect against formatting mishaps across installations.
Please note that, papers not complying with the formatting and other guidelines may not be included in the conference proceedings.
