How to reach C-DAC, Kharghar
Kharghar is located on the Mumbai-Pune highway (NH 4). If you are coming from Pune by road, get down at Kharghar bus stop or CBD Belapur bus-stop, and hire an auto-rickshaw to C-DAC Kharghar.
If you are coming via Mumbai, the easiest way to reach C-DAC Kharghar is to hire a taxi from the airport or railway terminus. Kharghar is at a distance of 30-40 km from Mumbai and 8-10 km from Panvel.
You can also travel to Kharghar railway station by the local trains. From the railway station, you can walk down to C-DAC Kharghar (8-10 minutes) or hire an auto rickshaw. Please remember that the local trains are generally quite crowded. The table below gives directions for local railway journey. Mumbai suburban railway map is seen here.
